Cece King is a multi-hyphenate Actor/Writer/Director/Producer based out of Los Angeles. As an actor she’s appeared in many TV shows and films, most recently in the pilot of the Peter Berg opioid drama for Netflix “Painkiller”, Lee Daniels “The Wonder Years” and CBC’s “Workin Mom’s”.

 

As a Screenwriter and Producer Cece received international distribution on her first feature film in 2019 'The Broken Ones' premiering opening night at the Soho Film Festival with over 400 people in attendance in the Summer of 2018. She has gone on to write and produce narrative digital content, short and feature length films under her production company Twisted Valley Films. Cece is dedicated to telling compelling stories and pushing for representation in front of and behind the camera. 

 

Cece recently produced a TV pilot “Under The Influence” and will be shooting the rest of the series in the 26' and is post production on 'Trapped' which she directed.

 

Cece is currently directing her first stage-play "Redemption Song" with a sold out run as a part of The Hollywood Fringe festival with a cast of nine. The run time is 60 min and the show is up at The Broadwater Theatre, Second Stage.

The play is the stageplay version of her feature 'Joey and EmmyLou' set to shoot in March 2027.
